The history of Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club - continued

The old clubhouse in 1951. Clarrie Woodhouse has just bowled a wood
with his characteristic 'full stretch' delivery.


The 1968 'Denny Cup' team and supporters before setting off for the final
at Croydon where Pavilion lost to Paddington 32-42. This photograph
was found recently in 1997 when the wooden lockers in the Snooker room
were removed.
